Middle School Reads!

by Justin Sayre Lexile:  700 Genre:  Realistic Fiction Davis is worried.  High school will be starting soon and everything seems to be changing.  His two best friends, Ellen and Sophie, suddenly want to do girl stuff and aren't including him in their plans.  Davis is worried about his weight and how people will treat him when he gets to school.  Ellen and Sophie tell him that nothing is wrong and that nothing will change.  But Davis doesn't believe them.  Is he going to lose the only two friends he has?
