Percy has had an uneventful year as a 7th grader until the last day of school. An innocent end of the year game turns into a death match, which Percy barely survives when he is helped by a friend, who turns out to be a Cyclops. They are rushed to Camp Half-Blood only to find out that the Camp is in danger. Thalia's tree has been poisoned and the borders have been compromised. Percy and Annabeth will need to take on another quest if the camp is to be saved.
